Hi, I'm Ross
Firstly, I’d like to personally thank you for visiting my website and viewing my work, it truly means the world to me that you are here!
I found myself getting into the world of weddings during my time at The Northern Film School where I was studying filmmaking back in 2016. By the way, if we end up chatting about films all day I'm fine with that. In between my time sitting in the library definitely not going out to bars, I filmed/photographed practically anything and everything I could get my hands on, which led me to realise that perhaps I could give weddings a go.
After my first wedding, I was absolutely ecstatic – and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love every aspect of it; bringing a couple such joy when they look at their film and photos for the very first time is still so rewarding. It genuinely makes me feel so affirmed that I chose the right career.
The gratification I get from knowing that a couple thoroughly cherishes what I have created just for them is indescribable. Not only that, the fact that they’ll be able to rewatch and relive their wedding day for years to come is invaluable.
My Style
With my style, I think it's a reflection of my personality. I'm not the kind of photographer to be super specific about what I'd like to shoot and isn't stopping for anyone until I get it. That's just not me. I want to have a good time capturing the couples I work with, and every couple is different.
With the portraits, of course I'm here to help with any posing tweaks that are needed, but honestly guys go wild and have fun with it.
This is your wedding day, so I make sure that you spend as little time as possible away from your guests. In fact, I do my best to work unnoticed – capturing raw and natural moments make for the best photos and films.
